Why take that chance? What it really comes down to is getting back to basics when it comes to getting high quality prospects. And the key word here is quality. 10 really strong prospects is a whole lot better than 50 random people who haven't been qualified as your specific target. So how do you keep bringing in these really strong prospects, time and time again? Firstly, you need to understand that your market is people that benefit from your offer. That may seem obvious, but you'd be surprised at the amount of network marketers that keep offering their opportunity to people that couldn't care less. You need to be a valuable resource and provide value. Can other network marketers learn from your secrets for staying motivated, effectively managing your time or organizing your schedule, etc.? Well, there's your market! Secondly, your other main focus should be about building good relationships. Just like with social media, people start responding to you when they get to know you and can count on your regular presence and quality advice. YOUR opportunity is to take the lead, find those that are looking for an opportunity to resonate with and then repeatedly give them reasons why YOUR team is THE ONE to be on. Find ways to consistently offer help and display your knowledge and your passion for the opportunity you're involved in - don't drop the ball if you think you've been waiting too long. If you've got quality prospects that you know is seeking the type of opportunity you have to offer, you will eventually earn a look - IF you are consistent with your communication. And when that quality prospect is finally ready to jump in with both feet, YOU will be the one they look to for assistance. So, instead of going the usual route and bombarding all your friends, family or other people who probably have no interest in what you're doing and are already too overwhelmed anyway, focus on the people who are already involved in network marketing because they will be much more receptive to your offer.
