There is no better way to get your prospects attention than to enter the conversation they are already having with themselves, or the conversation the the news is pounding into their minds every single day. We are bombarded with these messages Continuously. Here is how we use it to get real estate buyer leads.

Recently there has been a lot of talk about the new $8000 tax credit for first time home buyer. A lot of people have heard about it but don't really know the details, or are unsure what it's all about, or even if it helps them.

I developed several strategies using Ugly Yellow Signs around this real estate buyer news event. After testing hundreds of signs with different messages I came up with four that did exceptionally well.

Below is one of the Ugly Yellow Sign campaigns I am currently using with great success...
$8000 Tax Credit
First Time Homebuyers
What You Must Know
Before You Buy
Free Recorded Message
1-866-000-0000 Ext 0000
You Home Town Realty

There are four key parts to the success of this Ugly Yellow Sign ad. The first is the Big "$8000" dollar amount at the top. Using a dollar amount like this is an attention getter because it sparks curiosity to find out what it's all about. Dollar amounts are in every part of our lives so we can't help but notice them.

On the next line are the words "First Time Home Buyers". This message speaks directly to a specific type of prospect which builds additional interest for anyone who is even considering the purchase of their first home. On the third line we have

"What you must know"
What's great about this line is that it builds desire for more information. Now the prospect is thinking "what don't I know", and how can the "not knowing" potentially hurt me in my home purchase. Or the sense of loss by not knowing how this information can benefit them.

And the fourth line...
"Before You Buy" sets the timeline. It creates somewhat of an urgency to get the information now so they don't make a mistake or lose an advantage of some sort during the home buying process. And of course the "Free Recorded Message" which removes the reluctance of your prospect to call in fear of what they may see as being harassed.

Ugly yellow signs great at generating buyer leads through timely news events because they are hand written. This means you don't have to wait to send out an order to a sign company and wait several weeks for the order to arrive. If you haven't already gotten your yellow corrugated plastic signs I urge you to do so now and start implementing this strategy immediately and get a jump on generating real estate buyer leads now.
